The story of Versatips as told by its founder
Since I was young, my faith has always been at the center of my life. As I grew older, I felt the desire to express my femininity. Since makeup wasn’t really my thing, I naturally turned to nails. However, wearing semi-permanent polish or nail extensions wasn’t an option for me, as prayer requires water to directly touch the skin and nails.
When I shared this with people around me, I realized that many women in my circle—family members and friends—shared the same need to express their femininity. Yet, none of the existing solutions, like press-on nails, truly aligned with our values.
That’s when the idea came to me. I started by crafting rings using wire and attaching false nails to them. But honestly, the results weren’t satisfying or comfortable. After months of research, trial, and error, I finally created my first prototype. It was elegant, comfortable, and met all my expectations perfectly.
At first, I sold these rings to friends and within my local community on a small scale. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive. So, I decided to take the next step: producing the rings in larger quantities. Through Snapchat, I sold hundreds of them. Encouraged by this success, I decided to go even further by launching my own website. And that’s how VersaTips.com was born.
